Nestled in the scenic mountainous landscape of Peymood village, the Peymood Complex is a charming villa community that spans approximately 10 hectares and houses around 70 villas. Located near the city of Royan in Mazandaran Province, Iran, this complex boasts a picturesque setting that captures the essence of its surroundings.
The initial phase of the landscape design for the Peymood Complex focuses on enhancing the entrance area, management building, and sales department. The management and sales building was thoughtfully designed by Zand Harirchi Architects, while the sophisticated landscape design was brought to life by Contextlogic Architects in 2022.
Understanding the client’s desire to create a welcoming space for hosting gatherings, group events, and outdoor functions around the management area, the design team faced a few challenges. The steep terrain and issues with surface and subsurface water management presented significant technical obstacles to overcome.
To address these challenges, the design team meticulously analyzed the topography and pinpointed the gravitational center of movement between the two primary volumes of the management building. By constructing stone retaining walls at various elevation levels, they successfully created an adaptable and inviting space that accommodates the desired gatherings and events. This innovative solution seamlessly integrates the structure with its surrounding environment, elevating the beauty and functionality of the Peymood Complex.
